Thank you for not only giving me the gift of life, but providing me with a great childhood and upbringing. I know having a teenager is not easy, but your support has meant the world to me and I cannot wait to someday repay you.
12. Write about a time a gift was not well received
One time my sister and I decided to prank our little borther for Christmas. My family is very big on gift giving especially between my siblings and I. So . . . the expectations were very high when my little brother found out he was getting a congoined gift from his two older sisters. We gave him a big box that was filled with many other little boxes that were also wrapped. After about 20 minites of unwrapped our Russisian doll gift boxes he unwrapped and opened the last box which was full of coal. This resulted in a bug taturm from my little brother and my sister and I getting a big lecture about how sensitive he is. To this day we still give him coal every Christmas to make fun of the big tantrum he pulled when he was 7 for not taking a joke.
11. Write about all the secrets that have been kept from you.
One of the worst secrets that people have kept from me is their negative preceptions of me. If someone doesn't like me I would much rather them tell me to my face and not bother faking it to make me feel better. If you don't like me, say it to my face and don't pretend. Many of my old "friends" during freshman year at my old school were like this. they pretended to like me and hang out with me while they scolded me behind my back. Whenever we hung out together they always shoved me in a corner or put me in the center of things to make fun of me. When I figured out how much they disliked me it was much more hurtful then It would've been if they just didn't give in the effort to be my friends.
10. Write about a secret being revealed.
One of biggest and darkest secrets is that every time I go to hang out with people I get sick. Sometimes I puke, sometimes I faint, sometimes I just get very bad headaches but everytime I go out to a new place with people I'm not completly comforatable with, i get sick. I've gotten very good at hiding this and I'm almost possitive its anxietyy related but having to sneak off to the bathroom 5 times a night to collect myself is starting to get annoying and I'm running out of excuses.

Dear friends, family, and other associates.
I truley apologize for my disorganization and scattered self when things get serious. I promise I am not trying to upset you by making you wait for me or help me clean up my own messies. I promise I have very pure intentions I just get sloppy with stress.
8. Write about what you used to know how to do.
I got into kniting during middle school. I used to be able to make super complex designs and idems that I would knit during school. I took an elective where they taught us how to knit and I thought it was a fun idea and took it so i didnt have to take any acidemic electives. During covid I tried to relearn how to knit but I just didn't have the motivation to.
7. Write about something you don't exactly remeber.
There was this one time when my family and I were on a plane home from Europe. We had a layover to New York on the way back from London. Our plane was delayed over 8 hours and we were all super exausted. I hadn't slept and I took dramamine before the flight due to my motion sickness. So not having slept for over 20 hours and being drugged on draminine (has a huge drowsiness sideeffect) made me a practical human zombie. According to my father when we got back on the plane I was seated next to an older man in his 80s. Apperently I was super out of it and ended up falling asleep leaning on him, and alomst knocked him out of his seat. My family went to town on this and now everyone once and a while I get sent a photo of me drooling on some random old guy on a plane.
6. Write about a time when you knew you were in trouble.
I've always been a good kid growing up, I never got in trouble as a kid until 5th grade when i got my first detention. In 5th grade we had to change out of our uniform to our pe uniforms. They would send all the girls in the class to the bathrooms at the same time to change. I was upset at the girls one day at school so when we went to the bathroom to change I wanted to pull a prank on them. So when all the girls where changing I turned off all the lights in the bathroom to scare them. They all screamed and I ran out and immidetly ran into my teacher and got a detention for disorderly conduct. Apparently some other girls did the same thing cause they thought it was funny but I was the only one who got in trouble. Im proud to say that to this day I don't feel bad at all for turning off the bathroom lights, it was very funny.
5. Write about something you have too much of.
One thing I have a lot of is cups. I don't know why we have too many cups in our house. I'm one of the people who is always drinking water during the day, so it gets annoying when I have to clean up my 10 cups at the end of the night. I've started only using one cup a day, but my siblings always start drinking out of it and I get a new cup. This isn't really a problem its just a little thing that annoys me. If anything it just gets annoying when I'm putting the clean dishes away and I have to think of weird places to put them cause we have to many.
4. Write about something you can't deny
One thing I can not deny I my love and addiction to the game hayday on my phone. It's a stupid game where you have a farm and have to run it, things like feeding the animals, making produce, completing tasks, etc. It's honestly sad how much I play this game. I've been playing it for several years and my siblings and I all have farms and help eachother grow and level up. I can't deny how addicted to this game I am.
3. Write about something/someone being born.
I've never watched any birth or was present during someone being born but my cousin did recently have a baby. They live in texas and we visted during her pregnacy to help them out. They decided to keep the gender a secret until the birth and all of us were to take bets on the gender, time, weight, etc of the baby. I forgot to place my bets in the pool but my dad ended up getting a perfect score. Seeing the baby for the first time was very sweet though, I first got to see her when she was about 6 months and she was very tiny and cute.
2. Write about when you obsessed over something meaningless.
There was a time at camp where we found a really funny looking rock on a hike. My friends and I decided to name him Rockburt and he was our camp rock. We stole googly eyes from the crafts table and put them on Rockburt. For the rest of camp we continuously fought over Rockburt and treated him like our camp idol. We made a whole sleeping area for him (which included a throne room), and would put all of our snacks and candy near him so he could "protect them". All of this was intended as a joke but by the end of camp we were all so sad to say goodbye to Rockburt some of us cried.
1. Talk about a time you dressed inaporpriatly for the occasion.
One time I was inaporpriatly dress for an occasion was my cousins wedding. I had never been to a wedding before and this one was a black-tie optional event. So majority of the people were dressed super fancy, Instead I wore a old homecoming dress and combat boots. I looked riduclous and so underdressed for the formal event.
Today in class we started a group project that revolves around a short story. This story is about a girl who lives in the US and visits her family in the Dominan Republic and tries to decide if she will move there. This project reminds me a lot of my middle school literature class. We used to do similar things with short stories: read them, have to do an assignment surrounding the theme of the story, then do a project about the story that is usually presented.
Today in class we finished presenting our country projects. I was hoping I wouldn’t be the one with Chile to present but I was the only one with Chile to turn it in. Presenting wasn’t too bad, I just tried to speed through my presentation so I could be over it. I don’t mind public speaking but when I do it I prefer speaking on a topic that is treats me more then a presentation that took me one class to complete.
Today i’m class we started presenting our projects. Over the weekend I finished the slide presentation we’ve been working on about Chile. I’ve done very similar projects during middle school so I felt pretty prepared. I did enjoy watching others present, people gay so creative with slide shows and it’s fun to watch.
Today in class, we wrote our in-class essay. I already had an outline of my main points and ideas prepared from the night before, but it was still a time crunch. I got sleepy in the middle of class and lost time, but I hope my essay ended up okay. I was editing until the last minute, but everything got turned in, and I no longer have to worry about it. What was the most frustrating part was having to type it on Illuminate. I had all my stuff laid out on a google doc that I had to keep switching to, but I couldn't correctly format the essay on Illuminate.
Today in class we got the prompts for our in class writing. They were all pretty long which I like because that means there is more to write about. I feel pretty prepared for the in clas writing, and I'm glad he gave us time to prepare for it so I can plan and make an outline before we start tomorrow.
Today in class we finished going over all the notes for our in class wiritng. I did miss last Friday though so while I had to write down the notes we were given in class, I also had to write all the notes I missed when I was sick. I'm not to bad at multitasking but it was pretty hard to focus on the lesson, but I got all my notes done and that's all that matters.
