Today was our block period, we started class with some questions. Mr. Rease wanted us to discuss what words offended us and write about it. I've been called many things especially as a child but nothing stood out to me then the words "b*tch and sl*t". I picked these words because they are so commonly used to degrade women, talking to my friends about it, they picled similar words. I learned that not matter what, shallow insults that are directed towards a specific feture on a person (weight, race, gender, etc) are the most hurtful. We read a poem that focused on this and it really stuck out to me. I think everyone should use kinder launguage and stop staying awful things casually because you never know how its going to affect someone in the future.
