Reflection 11/17

 Today in class we finished up our work that was based on the film we watched on Wednesday. The rest of the period was a study hall which was very needed. Today is our last day of school before Thanksgiving break and i could not be more thankful. I’ve been up to my neck in work so a break is well needed.

 Today in class we watched a film about children in different parts of the world walking many miles to get to school. I was shocked to see that the kids had to walk more than 10 miles every day to get to school. Watching the kids be so positive about their situations and being so excited to receive an education made me appreciate the gifts and opprotunities i have.

 Today in class we continued to  reserch our career results and gather information on them. I've learned more then I thought I would about the career options I have but I really wish that we could choose our own instead of going off a really short quiz. I have a lot of intrest in law and criminal justice and I took that quizz three times and there was not one question that remotly resembled law. I digress, education is a very intresting field to go into, a good amount of work with little to no pay. The most i've learned is that the only people how go into education go into it not because of the money, but because of their genuine intrest in teaching; which is pretty cool. 

Reflection 10/31

 Today in class we took a career intrest quiz. I really didn't like this quiz and could talk for a while about how it lacks many popular majors and careers but I won't. My results were "Physical Education Instructor" and "Physical Trainer". I can confidently say that these are no where near related to the feild I am plannig on going into. The closest to these jobs I would pursue is following my dance intrest and being a part-time professional dancer and balencing that with a physical or occupational therapist career in sports medicine.
