In class we continued to read the short stroy The Rockpile. As we read and took notes Mr. Reese introduced us to the diffrent types of characterization and an acronym called STEAL. STEAL stands for speech, thoughs, effect on others, actions, and looks. All of these are types of characterization that each character has. As we continued to read I started paying more attention to the words the author used to describe each character. He made the father of John and Roy very suspensful and abiguous in the beginning until he arrived in the stroy.
